About Us
Founded by a local family with a common passion for dogs, Pet Lover’s Resort offers a full-service facility for dogs. Opened in April 2016, our facility located on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana features 2,500 sq. feet of play areas where dogs are stimulated with games, toys, and most importantly, lots of other furry friends.
Our facility is operated by an experienced and trained staff who all have one thing in common: an enormous love for dogs and cats. Every pet that comes through our doors is treated like part of the Pet Lovers Resort family, a truly most important guest.
We provide care for them 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and our services range from boarding and daycare to grooming and training. We handle medications, special schedules and private walking services on request.
Safety is Our Top Priority
Our play areas are supervised at all times by our experienced employees and trainees. We have separate sections for small and medium dogs, as well as a larger area for the bigger guys. Our facility is also designed to keep all our guests safe while transitioning between areas while going for their daily walks, as well as feeding in separate rooms to ensure their well-being.
Our cat guests have their own separate area, with lockable doors between sections of that same area to provide for different setups depending on the individual needs for privacy or socialization.
We also have hospital-grade filters throughout the entire property. These filters are used Hospitals and Veterinary clinics to eliminate air-borne bacteria and ensure a happy, healthy, and safe stay at Pet Lovers Resort.
All Our Guests are Required to have Current Vaccination Records
Please keep in mind that vaccinations play a great part in a healthy environment. We ask every pet parent to provide proof of vaccination upon check-in. The records we ask for are as follows:
